If you are looking to create a dramatic, bright and happy theme, then pink and orange is a very good choice. (preferably bright orange and bright pink). These two colours can be used to create a beautiful and unique statement at your wedding as well!

The best flowers to use for this type of wedding theme are gerberas and roses – they are in season most of the year and so won’t work out too expensive.

Carry these colours throughout your wedding. Use bold colours for your centrepieces, wedding , linens, etc. Make sure you also use one of these bold colours for the men’s shirts and / or bow ties too.

White linens normally work best, bringing in the oranges and pinks with the centrepieces, tie backs etc. You don’t want to overdo it on the dramatic side and still want to create a bright and happy theme.

Your bridesmaids and flower girls could even be in white dresses with orange or pink sashes.

The orange and pink wedding theme makes a great choice for tropical destination weddings such as on a beach, island, mountain, coast, or cruise.

Orange is a vibrant colour that can lift up any wedding atmosphere and bring more enthusiasm, joy, happiness, flair, and energy to the party. On the other hand, pink a bit more delightful, sleek, sensual, select, refined, stylish, elegant and chic. But it all depends on what shades of orange or pink you choose.

For a more vintage or antique, retro or funky themed wedding you can opt for bright orange and pale pink instead of bright pink.
