It was a beautiful Sunny Autumn day. We got married at 15:00 in the afternoon which left enough time for photos and celebrations. Myself, bridesmaids, Mother and Mother-in-Law got ready at the venue. We had a full day of champagne and snacks, the perfect girly time you need before your wedding.
Our colour scheme was Baby Pink, Silver and Gunmetal Grey. The food we chose was absolutely mouth watering delicious. (made by the talented staff at Everwood) We had Biltong salad for starters. Main course was succulent lamb, Honey & Mustard Chicken with Rice, Roasted potatoes, Caramel Butternut and green beans with a creamy mushroom and bacon sauce. Dessert was ice-cream. Peppermint mousse and cream cheese cupcakes.
For wedding favours We had a delicious sweet table and the guests could dish up there choice of sweets into a little gift bag. We also had bottles of wine with a custom label on it, which was a photo of us from our engagement shoot.
The highlight of my day was Getting married to the man of my dreams, seeing him stand in front of the chapel gave me butterflies all over again. It was an overwhelming feeling of joy and inner peace and so much love that surrounded me as I was walking down the aisle. Seeing our parents all dressed up and proud to be a part of our day. Just having all our family and friends around us celebrating our love for each other. It was truly a day to be remembered.
