ETC Events was started in 2007 by Debbie Montague who has been involved in Wedding and Event Planning for 20 years in KZN and around the country.  She is passionate about Weddings and says ‘there is nothing as beautiful as a stress-free, glowing bride on her Wedding day’.

As different as each bride is, so every Wedding is unique, but all deserve the same professional and dedicated co-ordination and planning leading up to and during the Wedding Day with ETC Events provides.

ETC Events provides a cost effective service to brides that not only eases the stress of planning a Wedding but also offers a wealth of experience, but still involving the Bride in every aspect of the planning process.

Our services include but are not restricted to:

  • Assisting in the designing of your Theme and concept for your special day, ensuring it is the Wedding of your Dreams
  • Sourcing, managing and liasing with all suppliers from the Venue and caterer to the minister and DJ. So you will deal with only 1 person who will ensure that all aspects and details are carried through and not a host of different people
  • Assisting the couple in choosing suppliers based on years of experience in the industry.
  • Assisting in Menu selection, wedding ettiquette and attire
  • Setting up of all décor and flowers
  • We are there every step of the way during your Wedding Day, ensuring you have a magical, stress-free day, with wonderful memories to look back on
  • Managing of your budget and making it work for you !

Our Wedding planning fee for all the above mentioned services is R8500.00 for weddings under 200 and R11 000 for weddings over 200 people.


We also offer an in-house stationery service which includes Invitations, menues, place cards, table seating, programmes, favours etc… to suit your theme and décor.


As all as all this Debbie is an experienced floral artists and also does Décor and flowers for our brides thereby giving a huge cost saving and peace of mind that ETC Events will be handling all aspects of the Wedding, ensuring everything reflects your vision.  These services are all quoted seperately following a meeting to establish what is required.
