An ideal establishment to celebrate your wedding day.
Thank you for your interest in eat@simonsvlei. We would love to host your special day. We have the perfect setting complete with mountain views, a large veranda and lawn, ideal for the wedding ceremony. Our top class restaurant caters exceptional quality food and we sell cost price Simonsvlei wines. Ample secure parking is an added bonus.
Our venue seats up to 80 guests and the adjoining area seats a further 50 guests. Both areas open onto a veranda and lawn area which are ideal for pre- drinks and canapés. Our venues are fully air-conditioned and the larger of the 2 has a fireplace.
The 2018 all-inclusive fee is R40 000 for 80 guests.
The package is inclusive of the following:
- Venue hire fee for ceremony –
- plastic chairs
- chair covers
- red carpet
- Venue hire fee for reception –
- existing rectangle tables
- existing chairs or chairs from ceremony
- white serviettes
- cream tablecloths
- Attached menu
- Canapes are R55 per person for any 5 canapes
- 10 bottles of Simonsvlei premier white or red wine OR 10 jugs of juice for the tables
- 10% service fee
Please note that our prices increase by a minimum of 10% annually.
If you require additional hiring. i.e. round tables and coloured table cloths or runners, this would be to your own account but can be arranged through us. We also have access to live music and dj’s. We charge a 20% handling fee to arrange these for you.
We have a selection of menus to choose from. We cater plated meals, buffets, canapés and brunches amongst others. If the attached menu is not suitable we will gladly discuss alternatives with you and amend the price accordingly. Canapes are R55pp for 5 assorted canapes. Please note that we don’t allow any self-catering or any beverages or alcohol to be brought onto the premises. Wedding cakes can be brought in.
We sell Simonsvlei wines at cost price. We allow corkage on bubbly at R40 per bottle. A full bar (beers, ciders and spirits) is available. We will gladly run a tab for your guests or a cash bar if that suits you better.
We require a 50% non-refundable deposit to confirm your booking, final numbers 1 week before the event and final payment on or before the day. Please make cash payments directly to us. Any bank charges incurred from cash deposits will be added to your account.
